The Commission will be operating with reduced staffing from Monday 27 December 2021 to Friday 7 January 2022, with only a small team of front-line staff working remotely across the period.

Things to note:

  • The Workers Compensation Division Listing Timetable sets out the likely teleconference, service and reply dates, that will apply to matters filed in the Workers Compensation Division during the Christmas/New Year period. Listings will be allocated on the dates indicated in the timetable, subject to availability.
  • Practitioners are advised not to lodge dispute applications on dates that will result in a listing falling within or near their planned leave.
  • 19 November 2021 is the last filing date that an application to resolve a dispute (form 2) will be allocated a teleconference listing date in 2021, namely, 17 December 2021 (being 28 days from lodgment).
  • Urgent matters may be listed in the period from 20 December 2021 to 7 January 2022.
  • The usual appeal periods apply during the closedown period.
  • Consent orders lodged by parties during the closedown period will be issued.
Registry Services

Registry Services will operate with skeleton staff between Monday, 27 December 2021 and Friday, 7 January 2022:

  • All calls should be directed to 1800 PIC NSW (1800 742 679).
  • The front counter at 1 Oxford Street Darlinghurst will remain closed.
  • All documents should be submitted via the Commission’s Portals.
  • Mail can continue to be directed to PO Box 594 Darlinghurst NSW 1300.

Email and telephone technical support for the Commission’s Portals will be unavailable from Monday, 27 December 2021 to Friday, 7 January 2022.
