Keep up to date with the latest news edition issued by the Personal Injury Commission

In this final edition for 2023, I wanted to extend my thanks and appreciation to everyone involved in what has been the busiest and most productive year for the Commission. Since our inception in 2021, we have achieved significant outcomes for injured people in New South Wales.

Standout achievements for 2023 are the implementation of the Pathway single digital portal for motor accident matters and our diligent work in reducing the number of matters on hand.

There are many other achievements for the year that I am very pleased with, and I encourage you to see a summary of them on pages 12-15 of the Annual Review 2022-23.

I am extremely proud and honoured to lead an organisation that is making a positive difference for injured people every day. This is only possible through the dedication and application of an exceptional group of people, for whom I am deeply thankful.

Below you will find a short item about the Damages and Cost Calculators for motor accidents matters, as well as a reminder about the Commission’s shutdown arrangements over the holiday period.

In closing, I want to wish everyone a very merry festive season filled with happiness and peace. I would sincerely like to thank you for your extraordinary efforts and commitment. Wishing you all a safe, joyful, and revitalising holiday season.

I will be in touch with another edition of the Personal Injury Commission News in the new year.

Merry Christmas!

Regards,

Judge Gerard Phillips
President
