The District Court of New South Wales is the contact point for searching and granting access to previous matters in the former Compensation Court of NSW.

Policy

The Personal Injury Commission (the Commission) is a statutory tribunal that resolves disputes under workers compensation and motor accidents legislation. The Commission is committed to providing a transparent and independent forum for the fair, just, timely and cost-effective resolution of workers compensation and motor accidents disputes in New South Wales.

The District Court of New South Wales is the contact point for searching and granting access to previous matters in the former Compensation Court of NSW.

The District Court may grant access to information including:

  • file number and party details of Compensation Court proceedings;
  • Compensation Court records, and
  • transcript/s of Compensation Court proceedings.
